The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved a significant upgrade for Srinagar airport, with the construction of a new civil enclave costing approximately Rs 1,677 crore. This development aims to accommodate up to 10 million passengers annually. The project includes a new terminal building designed to efficiently manage 2,900 passengers during peak hours.
